Spectrum’s BRIQ House presents FREE Queer Racialized Hangouts at Willow River Centre throughout 2026.
These hangouts are a collaboration between the Willow River Centre and Spectrum’s BRIQ House hosts to foster safer spaces for queer individuals who identify as Racialized, Indigenous, and/or Black. Every second Friday of the month, the community gets together to do activities (ex. crafts, karaoke, outdoor fires, poetry, boardgames, etc).
Events are free with light refreshments, though capped at 30 people, so RSVPing is recommended. This is a sacred space, so allies are welcome upon invitation, and are encouraged to donate (ex. $5) to the Willow River Centre.
