Your Thanksgiving weekend just wouldn’t be the same without it. The Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day Parade returns, filling the streets with music, colour, and community spirit.
For generations, families have gathered to experience dazzling floats, talented performers, favourite marching bands, and the festive energy that makes this one of Canada’s most beloved Thanksgiving traditions. Whether you’ve been attending for years or are creating new family memories, the Parade offers something for everyone.
Join thousands of spectators as we continue a tradition that brings smiles to every generation. The tradition continues. See you at the Parade!
Arrive early! The Onkel Hans Food Drive will be collecting monetary donations and non-perishable food items in support of The Food Bank of Waterloo Region right before the parade begins. Spectators of all ages are welcome, but please leave pets at home. The parade runs rain or shine.
Frederick Street is closed from Duke to Edna from 7:00am – 11am. Weber Street is closed Scott to Noecker starting at 9:20am and opens as the parade passes.
Watching from the street is free. Parade Bleacher seats at Queen St & Weber St are $10 per person (limited).
