Have you ever wanted to talk about what healthy masculinity looks like? Join your fellow neighbours on International Men’s Day for an interactive workshop at the Extend-A-Family Office (91 Moore Avenue, Kitchener).
The workshop centres on two interactive activities, the Man Box and the Strongest Man, so participants can reflect and share how they see healthy masculinity. It is a chance to unpack stereotypes and help men feel more free to be who they truly are.
Facilitated by Jacob, who has run hundreds of masculinity, bystander intervention and allyship workshops with the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region.
Pre-registration required; limited space. $10 non-members · $5 KWLOT members · free for Premium KWLOT members. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Light refreshments provided. Mature themes and language; best suited to ages 16+. Primarily for male-identified people; folks of other genders are welcome.
