Thankful. Grateful. Blessed. We open our doors to the community, with our free fruit tasting event. Celebrate Thanksgiving Weekend at Silver Creek Nursery's Annual Fruit Tasting Open House—a free, family-friendly event that celebrates the incredible diversity of fruits that can be grown right here in Canada.
Our event offers a fun day out for adults and kids alike. Participate in interactive tasting stations and discover new fruits you may not have tried before, like the infamous Paw Paw! Attend hands-on cider-pressing demonstrations done the old-fashioned way. Enjoy fruit-infused beverages and a few fruit-inspired treats.
Some of our previous vendors have included Huckleberry Hives (local honey, beeswax candles & more), fresh local vegetables along with Wayne and Rosanna’s greenhouse succulents & plants.
