Our next Binder Try-On event will be Saturday November 7th, 2–4pm at the Main Branch of the Kitchener Public Library. We still have quite a few donated binders to rehome and are always accepting more!
The Gender Affirming Project (GAP), facilitated by the Gender Variant Working Group, offers binder try-on events for binder-wearing people and people who support them. Binder Try-On events offer:
- Sample binders in all sizes and nude shades of GC2B brand binders to try on and confirm accurate sizing
- Sample binders in all sizes of Pack Animal binders, a local binder company
- Private space to try on the sample binders
- Limited pre-loved binders available for free that have been donated (sizes, colours, brands, and styles vary)
- Staff with experience wearing binders who are happy to share best practices and tips
- Information about community resources and supports with binder sizing
