Please join us on Friday, November 6th, at noon for an artist talk with UWAG artist, Laura Moore. Laura's work can be seen in the exhibition Handheld, currently on view in UWAG. The talk will take place at the University of Waterloo, in East Campus Hall, room 1219.
Laura Moore is fascinated with obsolete technology and a commitment to repurposing materials. Having established a reputation for carving 1:1 scale vintage computer monitors and boom boxes out of stone, over the last few years her practice has expanded to include the making of quilts and mosaics.
