an evening of (mostly) live hardware electronics
Nov 7, 8:00 PM
Yoni Mudra Art Gallery
241 Duke St W, Kitchener, ON N2H 5B7, Canada
$15-$20
Organized by Blaire Corbett
Strap yourself in for a wild night of crossed wires and glitching machines as four acts present their distinctive takes on live electronic music at Yoni Mudra Art Gallery.
Toronto duo Male Oblivion are rolling into town in support of their fantastic new album OFFLINE MATERIALS to fry your circuitboard with a deranged, high-bpm blitz blending IDM, juke, and jungle.
Support provided by Peterborough’s Gnostic Front, serving up a ghastly slab of industrialized doom tech; the tangled melodic rollercoaster of Lil Aitch; and the live debut of Radiant Bling, a cacophonous blend of modular synth noise and saxophone freakouts.
If all that isn’t enough, we’ll have local filmmaker Callon Murphy lighting up the evening with his analog & digital projection wizardry and a closing DJ set of raucous bass music from Hallucinex.
